Made in God’s Image

CR JackConSyd Blue SignI love the Book of Genesis.  Genesis means origin, creation, beginning.  It means something that was not, now is.  Something was created out of nothing.

In Genesis we see God as Creator.

Establishing order. Creating space. Producing animals, vegetation, water, earth.   People.

We are created in the image of God.  We each have unique talents and gifts administered to us as God enables.

The best gifts.

Each one of us including our children are unique, incomparable, marvelous.   In the image of God.

“God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them.”  Genesis 1:27

  1. As the book of Genesis plays out we see the expanding roles that the Lord created us to live out for His glory and purpose. Wow!

From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’
    – Acts 17:26-28
